June 23rd was the highly anticipated Summer Solstice, June 24th my last day of school, June 25th marked a 4 day escape to the family's lakeside paradise in Brookfield, New Hampshire, and June 29th marked a week-long jaunt in Fishers Island New York. Now my sister, beloved grandmother, and aunt travel across the pond for a week long adventure, centered around the wedding of my cousin Kimberly. Fishers, known for its #9 ranked golf course in the United States and 9th most prestigious club as well (the Fishers Island Club), is equally notorious for its classic golf, tennis and prepster fashions sported by wealthy New Yorkers (as the island is just off Long Island sound) and the country and world's elite. But, alas while I enjoyed the company of my Lily Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Roberta Roller Rabbit and Eliza B. - clad friends its time to move on to bigger and more global things.
