Say "I Do" to Britain's Wedding Fashion Bonanza!

Part 1: Dresses
I have a hunch that pretty soon fascinators will will be the next big thing in the States - hats are back and now's the time to cock your statement piece (angles, ladies!) and work the aisle in style at the next nuptial you attend. Single ladies, single no more in these wedding day stunners; I'm not saying you have to "pull a Pippa" as the media has deemed stealing the show, but you can still look gorgeous even if you're not the blushing bride (or her bootylicious sister for that matter!) See below for a the new wedding guest attire crash course.

(Top to Bottom)

More to look forward to...

Summer has continued to take me on numerous whirlwind adventures, including adventures across the pond! I have to say, English fashions never ceased to amaze me, and as I watched passerby in wonder I tried to string together a thoughprocess that would lead to the creation of some of the bzaar outfits I saw. While those older on the age spectrum dictated the proper and practical attire the English are known for, there was a sort of "youth in revolt" feeling amongst the hipster 20somethings roaming London's shopping hubs. Many of these sort of looks were quite impractical, some more provacative than others, and most generally channeled a revamped urban bohemian theme. On another note, my purpose for being in Great Britain was to celebrate the marriage of my dear cousin Kim to her med-school sweetheart Ben. England's wedding fashions are full of vibrancy and life, color splashes the pews as fascniators adorn female attendees. Later I will be posting a detailed synopsis of multiple new looks inspired by my trip. HOORAY FOR ANGLOMANIA FASHION!
